Booking Terms and Conditions1 Terms 1.1 These Terms apply to Woodside Cottage B&B, our officers, employees and agents ('We'/'Us'/'Our') and the person or legal entity making the Booking, or to whom we supply services in respect of the Booking ('You'/'Your'). These Booking Terms are governed by English law and they apply to all Bookings except where we agree in writing to other terms. By making a Booking, You are deemed to accept these Booking Terms. 2 Bookings 2.1 When a Booking is made, We accept a reservation from You, which brings into effect a contract between You and Us. We will accept and confirm Your reservation when We have received full payment of the total value of the non-refundable deposit requested from You, or full advance payment of the total price quoted to You in the event that this is required. 2.2 Where a non-refundable deposit is paid, the balance will be paid by You to Us either on check-in or check-out. 2.3 If, on accepting a reservation from You, we have received full advance payment of the total value, a portion of this payment specified on Our Booking confirmation equating to Our standard non refundable deposit will be deemed as such. 2.4 You must be able to enter into a legally binding contract and be over eighteen years to make a Booking. 2.5 Bookings must be paid for using an acceptable and valid credit or debit card. 2.6 When a Booking is confirmed, a reservation number is given. This number must be retained for access to the Booking details if cancellation or amendment is necessary. 3 Rates 3.1 All published rates include, where applicable, VAT and any other national or local taxes. 3.2 Rates are per room per night. If You have selected supplements, they will be added to the value of the Booking. Rates do not include other costs You may choose to incur during Your stay (unless otherwise stated). 3.3 Rates quoted are correct only for the specific number of guests, nights and dates shown. Should You change the number of guests, dates or room nights, then the rates are subject to change. 4 Availability 4.1 In the very rare and unforeseen circumstances that We cannot deliver Your requested accommodation, You will be offered alternative accommodation. 5 Arrival and Departure 5.1 Check-in times are specified on your Booking confirmation. Check-in times outside those specified must be confirmed with Us prior to arrival. Our specified check-out time is 1030 am. 6 Payments 6.1 The total amount payable to confirm the Booking, which will be quoted on your Booking confirmation, will be charged to your account at the time of the Booking. 6.2 The balance due on departure, including any any additional goods and services purchased during Your stay, is payable in full, by cash and/or debit card only, on presentation of an invoice at check-out. Final payment by credit card will incur an extra 2% surcharge to recover the additional processing costs. 7 Cancellation Policy 7.1 Your Booking deposit, including the element relating to the deposit of a full payment in advance, is non-refundable. If You cancel Your Booking within 48 hours of the scheduled check-in time on the date of arrival specified on Your Booking confirmation, a charge equivalent to the total Booking value, less any deposit paid but including any supplements selected by You, will be levied unless We have been able to re-let the room. 7.2 If You amend Your Booking within 48 hours of the scheduled check-in time on the date of arrival, and as a result You cancel any room night within less than 48 hours notice, a charge equivalent to the total price for that room, including any supplements selected by You, may be levied. 8 Conditions of Stay 8.1 We have standard rules designed to ensure that we comply with matters relating to such matters as fire and health and safety, and to enhance the comfort and wellbeing of our guests.
