To help with enquiries, we publish our Tariff below and we maintain an up-to-date Availability Calendar on another web page. Please check them both before booking with us.

To provide a personal service and meet your specific requirements as best we can, we welcome direct contact by phone or email.

Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of a non refundable deposit usually amounting to the cost of the first night's stay. Deposits for direct bookings are taken from credit or debit cards over the phone. Unless the cost of the whole booking has been settled in advance, the balance due is payable on departure.

Notes

1. All rates quoted are per room per night, not per person or per stay.
2. Rates include a Full English Country Breakfast, Private Parking and free Wi-Fi for laptops.
3. Higher rates are charged over Bank Holiday periods and on other special occasions.
4. The minimum stay is for two nights during the Main Season.
5. For the peace and quiet of all our guests, no children of any age and no dogs are admitted.

Evening Meal Bookings

We strongly suggest that our guests should book a table at a good local restaurant for their first evening meal, and do this well in advance of their arrival.  We can book on their behalf if asked.

Main Terms and Conditions

Below is a summary of our Terms and Conditions:

1. To secure a booking, an initial deposit is payable by debit or credit card only. Typically, the deposit amounts to the cost of the first night's stay. For stays of five nights or more, we may ask for an increased deposit. For online bookings full payment is required in advance.
   
   
2. The initial deposit is non refundable. It may therefore be advisable to take out appropriate insurance. For our cancellation policy, see para 6 below.
   
   
3. It is not our practice to insist on specific check-in and check-out times. Nevertheless, if circumstances allow, we prefer not to welcome guests before 4.30 pm unless by prior arrangement and we hope that they will vacate their rooms on the day of their departure by 10.30 am.
   
   
4. The nature of our house and its surrounding terrain makes it unsuitable for disabled people with severely limited mobility. Our Access Statement is now available online and it can also be downloaded as either a Word document or a PDF file.
   
   
5. For the benefit and peace and quiet of all our guests, no smoking, pets or children of any age are allowed in the house. However, guests are welcome to bring their own dogs provided that the dogs always remain outside or in the car.
